Question:

What is the width of the seat between the armrests?

Answer:

It is 18 inches on the seat and 19 inches at the top of the armrests. The armrests have a padded cover on them, probably making up for the lost inch that Diane answered with. See comment (1).

Question:

I understand that most people buy this chair for use after the baby is born.. but is this chair comfortable for use for my 24 weeks pregnant wife?

Answer:

My wife picked this chair at 36 weeks pregnant. She thought it was very comfortable, especially compared to the more expensive chairs. In the end its a personal preference. Hope this helps

With is box size in inches in making shipping?

The box is about 24" x 36" x 12", more or less.

Question:

What is the fabric on the cushions made from? Is it fairly soft or rough? Is it stain resistant considering it is such a light colored fabric?

Answer:

Fabric is made from polyester the cushions are very soft but the cushion on the seat is thin.since the cushions are beige I'm careful not to dirty them but I did use shout stain removal on the seat once to clean a stain
